In 1993, James B. DeWitt was a small business owner and
a recent electrical and computer engineering graduate of The
University of South Carolina. Legends Company Group, as it
was known then, was a car electronics and security company
that provided audio and security systems to car dealerships,
as well as, the general public. After multiple requests for
home security systems from existing clients, he decided to
learn the home security business.
